A technical of multiplication of the walnut tree perfectly controlled, fast and effective, gives us rates of success bordering the 100%.
Step 1: Selection of the best one year old understocks by a severe sorting of the sowing followed by their disinfection.
Step 2: Taking away and selection of the grafts in our 5 ha of feet mothers certified and controls by the Ctifl.
Step 3: Prune grafts
Step 4: Incision of the understock
Step 5: Precise adjusting of the graft on the understock
Step 6: Setting in a hot room
Step 7: Maintenance (Keeping) in hot room during 3 weeks
Step 8 : Exit of hot room of the seedlings after emission of the cal of cicatrisation.
Grafted/welded seedling ready to plant.
The seedlings thus produced will be mended in seedbed one or two years according to our customers requests.
